Edit: ended up in a and e, on tablets to try and stem the bleeding but didnt work ended up goin over the date of what should have then being my normal period too so i was bleeding for 5 weeks in total, had no blood now for 36 hrs (fingers crossed it doesnt come again till normal period due next mth) but gps didnt give me anything for it, told me to book blood tests which was then booked for the 20th of october after finally getting a consultation in surgery on the 30th of september so roughly 3 weeks wait for blood tests which were requested a and e put on my medical notes "suspected utc menorraghia" that could mean a multitude of things but the most severe could be uterine cancer, if thsts always an option why are they elavojg me weeks between tests! ive had a personal issue for nearly 3 weeks, tried getting an appointment but not able to be fit in so rang 111 over the weekend (28th sept) the clinician there booked me a phone consultation for Monday 29th sept with this surgery for the clinition within their surgery deeming my issues as not severe enough so they cancelled it (18 days bleeding losing big clots into the toilet and the pan of the toilet being bright red) yet not "severe" enough, this is abnormal for me ive never bled for more than 5 days at a time, im 44 so had ladies issues for nearly 30 yrs and never once had this in between periods, so ive rang 111 again today 29th sept for them to say we've sent another request for a phone consultation for tomorrow tuesday 30th sept but guarantee the clinician within surgery will refuse again as its the same issue, when I said ill just take myself to a and e because the reception lady at this surgery said and I quote "if u feel this is bad get yourself to a and e" yet 111 have said they dont deem it a an and e situation and I'll potentially be turned away, then all triage centres are full to brim, I now find this teetering on medical negligence and I can 100% assure u I intend to take this further, this could be cancer and I am basically being refused treatment, but oh no according to Michelle farmer they are not refusing treatment as theyve booked me an appointment for 12 days away! (Which was cancelled as a GP finally saw me on tuesday 30th and told me to book blood test, earliest they could give me is 20th of October so still waiting) Is that a joke for what could potentially be life threatening? Let's hope its not though hey because I do have people who will go down the route of suing for medical negligence and these people who's told me "to take yourself to a and e" and those who deemed this as not important enough to get seen will be sued and struck off ill make sure of it...I never use nhs services unless absolutely necessary, now this is one of those times, I hate using valuable resources but now when I need to im litterally thrown under the bus and made to feel im wrong for wanting an appointment sooner rather than 2 weeks down the line, yet theirs people who ring gps daily and use services for a sniffle and no1 bats an eyelid....would it be better if I abused these systems? Clearly works in the favour of those kind of people but someone like me who barely uses the services get absolutely nowhere....if I could give zero stars I would, and Michelle farmer change your attitude because twice ive spoke to you and both times u have had a bad attitude towards me, you are not above me so dont treat me like a piece of rubbish u have stood in....if I need to report you to the gmc for how u treat me I shall.

My partner suffers with epilepsy the GP stopped her medication through neurological advice who have had no interest or interactions with my partner so she's having to have daily fits multiple times a day and do the doctors care no even though we were told by a Paramedic and on her medical file that she has epilepsy I will not be dealing with people who get paid thousands of pounds to treat people like crap

It's hard in these times to find people that care ,ii have found my experience to be good and I always see the Advance nurse practitioner Kathryn Kay. She really listens and seems to get things done very quickly, very satisfied.

Never answer the phone. Been number one in queue for 30 minutes. Tried again the next day and same thing. Finally got through to them after 40 minutes and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment.

Just to say people are quick to complain about things at the moment but my experience of this surgery and it's staff over this past year during both my husband's illness and my recent surgery has been first class. Friendly staff quick appointments etc Can only speak as I find and we are really grateful for the service we have been given thank you

I need a blood test for my Thyroid level. It's like pushing a rock up hill to get an appointment within a reasonable time. I am having to go to the Royal for the test and then wait goodness knows how long for a result from the surgery

Staff are very helpful. The front desk staff are generally in a difficult position, as, like most places in the UK, there are too many people for the number of appointments, but I always find them to be very polite, professional and friendly.

As with most General Practice locally, it is hard, if not impossible, to make a good relationship with a GP. They are still good for getting emergency patients in to be seen, but their non urgent appointments mean often a lengthy wait. This used to be a 5-star GP practice, but then after covid, the amazing doctors they had retired. Doctors Thwaite and Miller were both beyond exceptional. Sadly, I have yet to be convinced most of their replacements can fully compare to them. It seems currently that procedure has become the priority over care. Communication between the doctors, administration, and reception. Is no longer exceptional. To be honest, I truly do not feel as safe as I once did. I have had issues over medication that took far too long to resolve. If I had not been with them. prior to the more recent changes I may have rated them slightly higher, but my views at this moment in time, are, as in the immortal words of most of my teachers when writing my school reports several decades ago ......"could do better!"

What has happened to our lovely, caring practice. Can't get an appointment anytime soon, looked online and no appointments available. Used to be able to see a doctor within 2-3 days and if urgent same day. I was put on a waiting list for a cortisone injection on 14 Dec and still no action even I've rang twice to see why it's taking so long and told them that I can't sleep because of the pain. I was told that they haven't set up a clinic yet and number 3 in queue. As someone else has said when you do go they are supposed to be busy but no one in the waiting room. Not good practice anymore

The reception staff have been amazing, so patient and supportive of my many calls to them dealing with my Uncle. I wish all doctor’s receptionists had the same attitude as they have been so lovely and understanding. The doctors have also been very good, they have never had an issue making a home visit and they always make time to call me. I really appreciate all your support!
